Immigration & visas 签证移民
China work visas and permits, approved the first time.
The Z visa, the work permit and the residence permit are one sequence with a fixed order. One document legalised wrong and the quarter repeats. We run the sequence for founders, staff and their families, from tier assessment to the cards in hand.
Visa-free entry for 85 nationalities · Scout first, file when ready
What it is 概述
Three documents, three offices, one strict order.
A Z visa gets you across the border exactly once. What makes China workable is the pair behind it: the work permit that makes your employment legal, and the residence permit that lets you stay, leave and come back. Each comes from a different office, in a fixed order, on documents legalised at home to a standard nobody explains until you've failed it.
We run that chain end to end, for founders sponsoring themselves through their own Hainan company, and for the staff and families who follow. Hainan helps: talent policies that ease qualification, a 15% IIT cap for qualifying talent, and visa-free entry for 85 nationalities, which turns the look-before-you-commit trip into a cheap flight instead of a paperwork project.
The problem it solves
痛点Documents legalised in the wrong sequence, the most common reason applications restart from zero.
Tier misclassification that files a B-tier hire as C-tier, or promises A and collects a rejection.
A refused application that burns a quarter while your China plans wait on one stamped page.

Eligibility & tier assessment
Your points scored against the A/B/C work-permit system. Degree, salary, age, experience. Before anything is filed. Free, and in writing.
Work permit notification letter
The employer-side approval that has to exist before any consulate will look at your Z visa application.
Z visa application pack
Forms, invitation documents and the legalisation checklist for your specific consulate. They differ more than they admit.
Work permit card
Filed after arrival, inside the deadline that starts the day you land. This is the document that makes the employment legal.
Residence permit
Replaces the visa in your passport: multi-entry residence tied to your role and your employer.
Family permits
Spouse and children's residence permits, filed alongside yours rather than discovered afterwards.

What we'll ask you for.
Templates and consulate-specific checklists come with the list. Start the degree and police-check legalisation first. They're the slowest items on it.
Valid well past your intended start date, with blank pages to spare.
Notarised and legalised in the country that issued it; we send the exact steps for yours.
Recent, from your country of residence, legalised the same way.
Plain and accurate; it gets checked against the application, so no creative writing.
Licence, contracts and filings from the sponsoring company; we prepare these if you're our formation client.
Specification photos, plus the standard entry medical done on arrival or at an approved clinic beforehand.
Pricing 费用
Priced per person, quoted before anything is filed.
Cost depends on tier, family size and how much of the employer side we're building rather than checking. After the free assessment you get a fixed quote in writing. Consular and government fees listed separately, at cost.

Why HCSG for this 凭什么
The sequence is the service. We've been running it for years.
10+ years of Haikou filings. We know how the local bureaus read the points table, not just what the regulation says.
Formation and visas under one roof, your sponsor entity's paperwork is our paperwork; nothing gets lost between two agencies blaming each other.
Clients from 50+ countries. Legalisation chains already mapped for most consulates, so documents arrive right the first time.

Next stepHR & Payroll
Contracts, social insurance and payroll for the people your permits bring in.
Next stepTax & Accounting
Qualifying talent caps individual income tax at 15%. We make the filings that claim it.
Next stepVisa questions 签证问答
What applicants ask us first.
01Do I need a company before I can get a work visa?
Yes. A Z visa is employer-sponsored, so a China entity has to stand behind the application. Founders sponsor themselves through their own company. If you don't have one yet, we register it first: see WFOE registration in Hainan. The two projects run in sequence, and we handle both.
02Can my family come with me?
Yes. Spouses and children receive dependent residence permits attached to your work permit. We file the family applications alongside yours. Same trip, same medical window, one timeline instead of three.
03What tier will I be classified as?
The work-permit system scores points for degree, salary, age and experience: A for high-level talent, B for professionals, C for temporary and seasonal roles. Most working professionals land in B, and Hainan's talent policies improve some borderline scores. We run your numbers free, before you commit to anything.
04How long is the work permit valid?
First issues typically run one year and renew from there, with longer terms available for A-tier talent and established renewals. Every expiry goes on your renewal calendar, so year two doesn't open with an emergency.
05Is Hainan actually different from the rest of China?
For immigration, usefully so. Talent policies that ease qualification, an individual income tax cap of 15% for qualifying talent, and visa-free entry for 85 nationalities. Meaning you can fly in, meet us and see the island before filing a single form.

From clients who’ve done this.
I was done managing manufacturers through a broker overseas. HCSG registered my company while I stayed focused on product. Best business decision I’ve made in years.
